⚡EDISOL SAYS KNOW YOUR RIGHTS: BILLING & METERING.
What every electricity customer should know under NERC regulations
1. Right to a Bill Review — Customer Protection Regulations (CPR) 2023, Section 36(1)–(8)
A customer has the right to request the DisCo to review a bill. During the review, the customer pays the applicable average amount prescribed by the Regulation. If the review establishes that the bill is incorrect, the DisCo must amend it. Where there is an overcharge, the exact amount overcharged must be credited to the customer's next bill.

EDISOL REMINDER
A bill is not automatically correct because it was issued by a DisCo. A meter is not automatically accurate because it is installed.
Customers have regulatory rights to billing review, proper metering, meter testing, correction of overbilling and complaint escalation.
Know the rule. Check the bill. Verify the meter. Challenge discrepancies.
